We do our best to live and farm as stewards in harmony with our environment.  As a small family living and farming off the grid, we are blessed with an isolated growing environment for the propagation of heirloom garlic, grains, vegetables and seed, which can seldom be found.  This enables us to grow and share organically grown heritage and heirloom garlic, grains, vegetables and seed, with a level of purity from pollutants and other GMO contaminants that is unique and authentic.   We are selling more of our produce to “local” markets, to reduce the use of fossil fuel used to distribute our produce to the traditional larger markets.  We welcome you to browse our website and enjoy the old fashion way we live and farm.

In 2012, we will begin specific initiatives to help young individuals and/or families with a dream of being sustainable organic farmers, but who lack the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed for success.  We will soon be opening a non-profit Institute, to provide the framework for specific one and two day learning courses, provided only on our farm, to cover the important subjects for success; sustainable living, soil building, growing & planting methods, harvesting, packaging & quality standards of the organic industry, business & marketing planning specifics, alternative energy, horse farming, preserving & drying food, heirloom   seed saving, etc..

As “Organic” farmers, we share the growing commitment for consumer protections through continuing to increase the integrity of the “Organic” label.  We believe in strict compliance and enforcement of all farmers, conventional or organic, to respect the national “Organic” equivalency standards that have been agreed by Canada the US and the EU, to continue building consumer confidence in all “Organic” representations and labeling.  We are thankful that our isolated, off the grid small family farm is a safe place to grow uncontaminated, safe, “organic” food and seed.

Our Quest and Journey As

Sustainable Organic Farmers

‘If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”  Thomas Jefferson, 1781.
